Welcome to the Moonee Ponds Bowling Club
Established in 1891, Moonee Ponds Bowling Club is located in the picturesque Queens Park. As a result of regular
flooding of Mr C.S Feehan's private race track (Moonee Valley!), council excavated what was formerly a swamp
area to form a large lake in Queens Park, with excess soil used to create bowling greens - and thus the Moonee
Ponds Bowling Club was established !
The club is open year-round and is available for social bowling, functions, professional lessons and
competition, including Pennant (members only).

Moonee Ponds Bowling club provides bowling for all ages and levels of bowling expertise. Situated in scenic Queens Park it is the perfect back drop for a few hours with friends while enjoying some barefoot bowls and a few drinks around the Barbie. For the more serious bowler we offer Saturday and Tuesday Pennant.
