The Bourke and Wills Room

Featuring a large dance floor, stage, PA & AV facilities, the Bourke & Wills room offers a fantastic space to host your next function and is perfect for weddings, birthday celebrations or corporate conferences.  Other features include access to large kitchen, fairy lighting and disco ball.

The Grey Room

Recently renovated, the Grey room is the perfect space for smaller groups.  Featuring large bi-folding doors, deck area and covered veranda, the room provides view of the beautiful greens of our club and Queens Park. Other features include smart TV, PA & AV facilities, plus access to BBQ

This newly created space is perfect for your next group meeting. Features include:

The Member Lounge & Bar

Our Member’s Lounge is a wonderful place to relax, while enjoying the views of our greens.  Inclusions include Foxtel, tub chairs, a variety of seating, plus access to the Burke & Wills Room, friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. 

We offer a fully stocked bar with lower than pub prices, including tab beers

The Member’s Lounge has very limited availability for hire, based on our Club’s bowling activities, however you are welcome to make an enquiry.   

Catering Options

We do not have an on-site caterer: however, we can provide a list of our preferred caterers for your consideration. Alternatively, you can engage your own caterer or self-cater.   We offer kitchen & BBQ facilities – fees apply.

Frequently asked questions

  • Room hire fees are based on the number of hours required
  • Hours to include setup and pack-down by client
    • Function holder to setup and pack-down unless otherwise arranged with the club 
    • NB: Fees will apply should you require the club to setup and pack-down
  • Minimum Room hire fee is 4 hours
  • Extra staff costs may apply depending on the number of guests and your beverage requirements
  • Children are not permitted on the greens, in the sand surrounding the greens or other areas of the club and are the responsibility of their parents and the function holder/s.
  • Tables and chairs are provided and included in the room hire costs. However, only within our limits.
  • We suggest the room can be setup with round tables which comfortably seat 8 people per table.
  • If we set up the room there is a $50 per hour fee as we need to employ someone or we can provide the tables and chairs and you are welcome to set up the room yourself
  • Linen can be supplied at $4.00 per tablecloth

the following is included in the room rental price and is estimated hire value of $500.00

  • Projector – laptop required with the HDMI cable compatibility
  • Surround sound – either radio or iPhone compatibility
  • Microphone

Decorations are strictly limited to the floor and table or hanging from hooks already provided in the room.

We do not permit the use of blue tac, sticky tape, screws, nails, tacks, adhesive fasteners, locks or other attachments in or on any part of the floors, walls, doors or ceiling of the room. This is to maintain the integrity of the walls, paint and other maintenance and we thank you for your cooperation regarding this matter.

Please note that all decorations and items are to be removed from the room at the end of the function.

Bookings are required to ensure we have bowling rinks and staffing available.

We are able to supply teabags, instant coffee, milk and sugar at a cost of $60 or you are welcome to supply your own and we can supply an urn at no additional cost

When hiring our kitchen a Bond of $250.00 with credit card details as security apply. If the kitchen is not clean and in the same state as hired, a professional cleaner will be used and charged to the credit card.

If the kitchen is used, the caterer must supply all their own equipment. It is the responsibility of the function holder to ensure it is cleaned, including ovens, stove tops, microwave and benches.

If you require use of our commercial kitchen and the equipment a Kitchen Hire Fee $150.00 will apply.

The kitchen is to be left clean with all club items such as trays and plates etc. to be cleaned and returned to the appropriate place and must be left in the same condition of hire.

When hiring our kitchen a Bond of $250.00 with credit card details as security apply. If the kitchen is not clean and in the same state as hired, a professional cleaner will be used and charged to the credit card.

Our bar closes at midnight unless previously arranged.

Bar tab can be arranged or guests can pay as they go

  • Drinks are at bar prices and are subject to change without notice..
  • Pot of beer: $5.00
  • Glass of wine: $6.50
  • A bottle of soft drink: $3.50

Security is a mandatory requirement and evidence is required 14 days prior to the 21st birthday function. Our supplier is MC Labour Security. Please call Neil on 0416 656 670. The MPBC has the right to cancel a booking if security details are not provided without refund.

A Bond of $500.00 is required for all function to cover the cost of any damages. Credit card details as security apply. If any damage is found after your function, you will be advised and your credit card will be used to pay for such repairs.

You can arrange for your own entertainment, band or DJ and they will provide their own equipment and insurance. However, we can use our in-house audio, visual equipment free of charge. Eg: Data projector, screen, microphone and sound system. You can use a smart phone, USB and your own computer. We recommend that you test that your equipment is compatible with ours a few days before your event.

Should we be placed in lockdown and the event is unable to proceed a refund will be given or a rescheduling of the event.
